How the money works, and what it never changes.
Some links on Dear Costa Rica may be affiliate links. If you book a stay, a tour, a transfer or a retreat after following one, the provider may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to things we would recommend anyway. Commission never decides what appears on the site, the order it appears in, or what we say about it.
Where we cannot verify a detail, such as a price, a schedule or an operator, we leave it out or mark it, rather than guess. Where a page contains affiliate links, it says so near the recommendation. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored".
